It is fashion week in New York, but the parade of catwalks and parties has run into a bit of an obstacle: the weather.
New York City saw near record-cold temperatures on Monday, with a chill of -16C in Central Park. Snow followed on Tuesday, hampering attempts to look stylish across the city.
With disaster looming, we sent Adam Gabbatt to interview fashion show attendees. How do they brave the cold? How do they avoid coming a cropper on the snow and ice? And, ultimately, how do they manage to still look cool when it’s bloody freezing?
