    Best Primer I’ve used, December 6, 2011

This is one of the best Eyelid primers I have ever used. It goes on wet, you rub it in, let it dry, then doll those lids up! I WOULD NOT buy it from Amazon though. It is an exact $1 at target, along with many other e.l.f products. I’d rather pay a dollar than $4 dollars. It really is great though, especially for the price. My makeup stays put all day!

Finally Can Wear Eyeshadow, May 2, 2011

    Verified Purchase(What’s this?)

I’ve always had very oily eyelids- whenever I tried to wear eyeshadow, it would begin creasing before I was even finished putting it on. I considered trying Urban Decay’s or Two-Faced’s eye primer, but didn’t want to waste $18 on a product that might not work. So I bought e.l.f.’s essentials eyelid primer, cheap enough that I wouldn’t feel guilty if I threw it out.

I had very low expectations for this primer when I first tried it, but WOW. It worked like a dream! Just a bit dabbed on in the creases and on the rest of my eyelids, and the eyeshadow stays put. The last time I used it, I applied grey and black eyeshadow at 4 pm to see exactly how well the primer would hold up. At 2:00 am, the eyeshadow looked the exact same as they had 10 hours ago– and not the tiniest hint of creasing! I’m completely in love. I only wish that the tube wasn’t so tiny and had more product, but with it costing less than $1.50, reordering won’t be a problem.

    DON’T BUY FROM AMAZON!!!, February 6, 2013

Buy this product from your local Target, where you can get it for $1.00. Today is my first day trying it and I already love it. I too have very oily eyelids and was tired of paying $19 for my eye primer from Clinique. My skin is also very sensitive, and I haven’t had any issues yet.
