From Oscar Wilde’s carnation to Keira Knightley’s Atonement frock, green has had its fair share of fashion moments. This season is no exception. The shade you want is palm frond not highlighter – a sort of Kew Gardens palette. Rebecca wears the influence explicitly, whereas Pam nods to it with trousers that are a grassy shade. Green works for knitwear, too – I love D’arcy’s melange sweater, worn with navy trousers. Or combine different shades: see Lily’s mix of racing and pea on boxy separates, or Michele’s mint frock with an apple-coloured jacket – it’s good enough to eat.
