A print adds something extra to the humble shirt – and it comes in enough variations to appeal to the extrovert and the shrinking violet. Here, Maximillian makes a statement with zigzags (a fun way to embrace the 70s trend). Co-ords, like those worn by Tomo, are another twist on tailoring, and the gentle scribbles tone it down from being too high fashion. And then, of course, there’s the classic mix of plain trousers with a printed shirt. Pick from a sprinkle of white lines on a black background (David) or a monochrome shirt (Jamel and Rob), with black trousers – a winning look. Simple yet effective: who can ask for more than that?
