Texture, texture, texture… it’s an critical theme for deliciously curly hair. Any sistas remember a crunchy days of 90s moussing? Sadly, many of today’s products that tame wild, bouncing spirals still leave hair tough or stiff.
Not Vernon François’s product range, though, that has been lovingly designed with substantial hair in mind. Vernon was my stylist a few years ago, before he jetted off Stateside to character a likes of Lupita Nyong’o and Solange. Having gifted his low bargain of Afro hair, I’ve got a pinnacle honour for his talent.
Hair is political, after all, both in terms of how a universe sees us and in a personal lives. we once antiquated a child who told me he didn’t like my hair brief – he suspicion he had tenure over my look. But I’m free-spirited with my barnet… failing it pink, shred a bit off (I shaved a One Direction trademark in a behind when we was a Radio 1 presenter).
I appreciate Vernon for formulating something for kinky-haired women everywhere. His new styling cream has smell records of carrot and fennel, and there’s a educational vid during vernonfrancois.com.
