Helen Mirren in green at the Berlin film festival – Stylewatch

While the rest of the A-list have been flashing their flesh like it’s 1977 on the red carpet this season, here Helen Mirren shows it’s possible to be covered up and dressed-up at the same time. It helps that this sweeping Dolce Gabbana frock gives a photogenic outline – something the Italian design duo are dab hands at creating – but its real strength is the colour: a traffic-light green that looks all the more arresting because of the way it complements the red carpet. The hair is slightly Boris Johnson, but Her Majesty wears it a lot better.
