Choosing my
favourite Beckham design took less than one second. This dress is not just my favourite Beckham dress, it’s my
favourite dress I own, full-stop. It’s from her diffusion line,
Victoria by Victoria Beckham, SS13, and it’s the dress I wear to every special occasion,
because it’s comfortable, it makes me feel fabulous and it doesn’t
need high heels. In other words, it’s my
perfect dress. I love the contrast sleeves, the fitted waist and black skirt are
flattering without screaming “optical illusion
slimming effect” and the bird design makes the dress
interesting without being too quirky.
Who, a decade ago, would
have ever guessed Victoria Beckham would nail the “cute but not
cutesy” market? Not I, for sure, but I’m glad
