Brian Stonehouse: from British spy to American Vogue – in pictures

He was an art student, spy and prisoner of war during the second world war, surviving four concentration camps. A decade later he had become one of Vogue’s top fashion illustrators. An exhibition of his work is on show at Abbott and Holder in London until 22 December
