Oh, hello September, thank goodness you’re here, for the atmosphere of ‘fresh starts’a new season brings. I like you September, still surprising us with warmth, but giving us a stillness, too, enhancing our gratitude. It may be the last month we can sit on the ground outside for a whole afternoon.
I want to experiment with green eyes to express my excitement at a new harvest. I’m going to take note from fellow comrade Caitlin Moran, who once told me she enjoys thinking how beautiful a puffin looks when doing her make-up. I thought this approach had such a lovely sentiment.
I’ve scoured high and low for a shade that, I think, matches the impending autumn and found this delightful mossy green from HM called ‘Mesmerise Me’. There are lots of different tones out there, though, so find the one that speaks to you, be bold and give yourself nature-inspired green eyes.
