Sequins aren’t just for Strictly-style ballgowns these days: the way to wear them in 2015 is with a hefty scoop of insouciance. That can mean pairing a sequin pencil skirt not with stilettos but with sliders, like Wei, or adding accessories (Sam’s clutch worn with a sequin shirt). Sequins are also turning up in unexpected places: on Susanne’s statement-making trousers, on Tessa’s pretty camisole, and on the robots that dot Monique’s co-ords. Hardly Strictly material, but fun – and totally modern.
