One of the most controversial trends of the past made its big comeback this season. Of course we are talking about the new trend of wearing leggings! Yes, the same ones that we used to put on for our class of aerobics and later on decided to wear with tunics for a casual look. Now leggings can be found practically in every collection no matter the style orientation. Check out how you should wear leggings this winter to look on-trend and cool!
Of course one would expect to see classic tights in the first place. However leggings nowadays are available in all kinds of forms and style. Firstly, we have to that the latest alternatives are warmer compared to the ones offered previously. Second, they create the image of a very elusive negligence. Here’s an example: at Chanel, Stella Tennant, looked like she just ran out of the house the way she was already dressed having only a topcoat added on. The story in the spirit of ”I woke up” seems to go on at MSGM and Stella McCartney as well. Incidentally, insoles on the bottom part seem to be a whole other story, a separate fetish and no one looking at them, do not remember the breeches that for some reason we used to call gaiters.
Now on the other hand, you can experiment with the teenage girl style and show off an interesting interpretation of the look. A good example can be taken from the runway shows of Dolce Gabbana and Ralph Lauren.
Of course, there are many interesting combos offered for this season. However it all depends on your main style preference. Now as we already mentioned the relaxed, comfy style is considered a mainstream for this winter but that does not exclude the classier approaches. Note that the traditional black leggings are a must for this season. So like it or not if you’re a real fashionista you should at least have a pair of black tights in your wardrobe.
Now we also have some suggestions for those of you who appear to be fans of edgier looks. For example a pair of fancy, sparkly tights just as the one shown off at Chanel can be one of the best options to go for.
