Being outdoors is one of my passions. Our small village in Middlesex is surrounded by woods and fields.
I feel very lucky to have been married to my husband, Michael, for so many years. We live a very busy and interesting life together. Our company provides health and safety at events and exhibitions; we also provide security and VIP hospitality for music events.
When I’m not working, I enjoy going to the theatre and cinema. We recently saw Strangers On A Train, which was very good, and the new Jack Ryan film, Shadow Recruit.
I like Coco Chanel’s Parisian chic and stylish suits. This hat is style in a Chanel-esque way. I’m wearing a matching wool skirt and jumper, and a large cardigan, all of which I knitted myself.
Ironing bed linen is my least favourite weekend chore. I’d much prefer to be in London, visiting the museums or wandering along the river around Tower Bridge or Canary Wharf – it’s so pretty around there. My perfect weekend would be spent in Venice with my husband, visiting museums and galleries and going to the opera house. I can’t think of anything better.
