Not quite what I expected, but really like it!,
I waited approx 5 weeks for this dress to be delivered. I was hoping i didn’t make a HUGE mistake purchasing this dress. I wasn’t expecting anything OUTSTANDING, but hoped it would be good enough that I could wear it for 2 hours and it not fall apart on me.
For only $156 (including shipping) this dress is GREAT~~
The material is sutrdy and the lace is really pretty. Since i’ll be wearing this in Jamaica I didn’t want anything too heavy. This dress has a satin underlay with lace over top. I’m 5’5″ and the length is PERFECT for wearing sandals on the beach.
I’m very top heavy (36DDD) and wanted to make sure the bust area would fit. So I ordered this dress based on the bust size, I was expecting it to be a little big around the waist and hips. According to my bust measurements I needed the XXL dress. That should have fit PERFECTLY around my bust area. However, the dress came in and was WAY too big. I contacted the seller and they said they would give me a refund. I thought about this but, after putting the dress on I couldn’t part with it.
I work with a lady who’s mom works for Davids Bridal. I am currently having her put a corset back in the dress and i’m sure once that’s done the dress will fit PERFECTLY. She mentioned that the dress looked great and said I got a GREAT DEAL. Condisdering she seen hundreds of dresses that made me feel pretty good about my purchase. 😀
All in all……If you’re looking for a simple yet elegant lace dress i’d highly recommend this. It wasn’t quite what I was expecting, but it was a great buy and i’m only spending a total of $256 on my wedding dress 🙂 I’m happy with that!!
